Worship

“To worship is to quicken the conscience by the holiness of God, to feed the mind with the truth of God, to purge the imagination by the beauty of God, to open the heart to the love of God, to devote the will to the purpose of God” – William Temple

Worship is the response of our hearts as they gladly reflect back to God the radiance of His worth. It is our response to the person, presence, position, and power of God. Worship is essentially the celebration of God, and is a direct expression of our ultimate purpose for living. As we begin to see God as He is, our hearts respond to His reality and pour forth praise. Our worship at Christ Covenant mixes the great hymns of both the past and the present, aiding us as we seek to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.

“Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy…” ~ Psalm 67:3-4

We look forward to seeing you at one of our Sunday morning services as we ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name. We can’t wait to meet you soon!
